The Nomad art program is for artists and future artists that wish to work intensively on their artistic and personal development:

• individual guidance in your visual art process by the artists in the studio
• individual vocabulary and -writing guidance
• weekly inputmoment/workshop by one of the artists in Estudio Nómada
• frequent group critiques guided by an artist
• weekly art-documentaries or art-movies in our small cinema

And:

• a working place with 24-hour access in Estudio Nómada, Barcelona
• join or organize exhibitions or events in our exhibition space
• being part of a lively and very international artistic ‘peer-group’.

Duration: Preferably 6 months or more, minimally 2 months

Every week we organize different half-a-day workshops to open your mind to new techniques, ways of looking or anything inspiring we can think of:

• skyline drawing from a sailing boat
• visits to Graffiti plants
• life drawing classes
• mold making
• museum visits
• selling in public spaces
• public intervention
• drawing negative space
• lino-cutting
• how to exhibit your work

As an add-on to the regular program we offer spanish classes. You’ll receive Spanish classes once or twice a week from Miquel, a spanish teacher and architect that works close to Estudio Nómada.

Costs: €12,- per class (of one hour).
